There are six trims for this year’s Traverse: LS, LT Cloth, LT Leather, RS, Premier, and High Country. Each trim level offers something unique, like the LT trim offering cloth or leather upholstery. Each trim is equipped with a powerful 3.6L V6 engine, which is capable of achieving 310 horsepower. The Traverse’s nine-speed automatic transmission system ensures smooth and even acceleration.
There are four different optional editions: Midnight Edition, Sport Edition, RS, and Redline Edition. The Midnight Edition transforms the Traverse into a commanding presence with blacked-out accents and exterior stylings. The RS edition will feature 20-inch dark-painted aluminum wheels, black window moldings, and black exterior accents. The Redline Edition is equipped with 20-inch gloss Black wheels with red stylings and red/black exterior accents.
What’s New
The 2022 Traverse got a refresh on the exterior. The headlights, tail lights, and parts of the body received a redesign. There is a new infotainment system that makes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto standard on the 2022 Traverse. Previously optional safety features are now being incorporated into the Traverse’s standard safety package.

As mentioned, the Traverse got a beefed-up safety package this year. The rear camera, automatic emergency braking, and lane change alert help keep you in control and safe on the road.
