2021 Chevy Suburban

The 2021 Chevy Suburban underwent a redesign that’s taking the market by storm. Its spacious interior and ample features have got drivers all over the country swooning, and the list of things to love about it is endless. We’ve managed to narrow it down to just a few things we adore, though, so let’s take a look.

1. It’s Powerful

The Chevy Suburban has an excellent engine lineup that drivers of all kinds love. There are two V8 gasoline engine options that’ll blow you away, and there’s a six-cylinder diesel engine for people who want a little more power. They’re all paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission that’s highly capable of towing, off-roading, and more. All powertrains are available in all-wheel or rear-wheel drive, so you can personalize your experience a little further with that.

2. It’s Versatile Off-Road

The Chevy Suburban has a surprising amount of off-road prowess for a family vehicle. Its adaptive dampers and adaptable air suspension let you change your ride height automatically or manually, and this adds extra ground clearance for those tricky off-road areas that you wouldn’t be able to tackle in a competitor vehicle.

3. It’s Fuel-Efficient

The Chevy Suburban is quite a hefty SUV, and large SUVs don’t always have the best fuel economy. That’s why Chevy thought ahead and made sure to incorporate several fuel-saving features that’ll prevent your brand new SUV from turning into a gas hog.

The auto start-stop lets the Suburban reduce fuel consumption when it’s not actively driving, and there’s a cylinder deactivation feature that you can use to stop fuel feeding to some of the engine’s cylinders if desired. These features let your Suburban maintain a fuel efficiency of 20 miles per gallon.

4. It’s Spacious

The Chevy Suburban features a cavernous cargo area with 145 total cubic feet of space for your items. This is more than enough for the average driver. You’ll need to fold the second and third rows flat to access the full cargo capacity, and the regular cargo space is plenty big enough for peoples’ everyday needs, too.

The Chevy Suburban now has an independent rear suspension, and this allowed the manufacturers to expand the cargo space available in it. The recent redesign that this vehicle went through really made a world of difference.

5. It’s a Towing Machine

The Chevy Suburban may have lots of cargo space, but sometimes that just isn’t enough. You might want to hitch up a trailer, a camper, or a boat, and take a fun little trip. You can do that in the Chevy Suburban thanks to its ability to tow between 7,500 and 8,300 pounds. The towing capacity of your Chevy Suburban will depend on the powertrain you choose.

This towing capacity is on par with what many mid-size pickup trucks can haul, so you know you’re getting an impressive vehicle. An SUV that can measure up to a pickup is definitely something to be wowed by.
