September’s end heralds the beginning of West Virginia’s oldest and most celebrated music festival. The Gazette Mail’s Kanawha County Majorette and Band Festival is a sweet-sounding tribute where regional high school bands (including Nitro High School), along with the majorette corps, put on amazing exhibitions and participate in spirited competitions.
