Wide Selection of Powertrains Whether you're looking to experience Camaro performance without breaking the bank or wanting maximum power, this muscle car has what you need. A turbocharged 2.0L inline-four engine comes standard on LS and LT models and is no slouch with its 275 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. If you're craving V8 power, the LT1 and SS models sport a 6.2L engine that can rocket you from 0 to 60 in just four seconds with 455 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque. Purists will love the standard 6-speed manual transmission's short throws and responsiveness or you can choose from the 8-speed automatic (2.0L engine models) and 10-speed automatic (3.6L and 6.1L engine models) for the highest precision possible. 2. High-Tech Suspension Representing a new breed of muscle cars, the Camaro doesn't just get off the line quickly, but it's also a monster in the corners. Making that possible is Chevy's available Magnetic Ride Control-equipped suspension, which doesn't use traditional mechanical parts, but a magnetized fluid. This fluid fills the dampers and can be activated by magnets to instantly adjust the suspension in real-time. A limited-slip differential is available and works in tandem with the Magnetic Ride Control and Performance Traction Management systems to provide maximum stability during hard cornering and acceleration. This incredible performance is rounded out with the excellent available Brembo brakes and direct steering. 3. 1LE Track Performance Package The available 1LE package takes your track experience to a higher level with a host of performance upgrades. Included is a dual-mode exhaust system, red Brembo 6-piston front and 4-piston rear brakes, and a Track Cooling Package to keep the powertrain performing at its best during rigorous track days. This package also gives a unique look by adding ultra-light 19-inch forged aluminum wheels, a hood wrap with a carbon fiber air extractor finished in Satin Black, and a suede microfiber-wrapped, flat-bottom steering wheel. Helping to complete the package is a carbon fiber rear wing and RECARO front bucket seats. 4. Chevy Infotainment 3 System Inside every model's racy and high-quality interior, you'll find Chevy's latest touchscreen infotainment center. With either a 7-inch or 8-inch screen, depending on the model chosen, is Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Chevrolet Connected Access capability, and Bluetooth connectivity. A 12-month SiriusXM All-Access trial subscription is also available. 5. Safety Technology Even with a focus on delivering the fun, Chevrolet didn't forget to neglect the need to keep occupants safe. The available Forward Collision Alert warns you of potential frontal collisions and lets you know if you're following another vehicle too closely. Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert helps you to avoid collisions when changing lanes. You can also choose Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Rear Park Assist to help avoid collisions as you maneuver around the parking lot. The Camaro's return to the modern era has been a resounding success.
